چکیده
Description: The thiolester site of the human alpha-2-macroglobulin (A2M) is essential for the function of A2M as a proteinase inhibitor (1, 2). This site, which is encoded for by exon 24 of the A2M gene, was amplified by polymerase chain reactio (PCRa usinr tho primer 5'-CTGAAGAATTATCCCTGAAAC-3' and 5'-TGGTTCCTGCCATATCGCTC-3'. PCRs were performed in 100 /xl volumes containing 0.5 ng genomic DNA, 25 pmoles of each primer, 200 /iM of each dNTP in 50 mM KC1, 10 mM Tris-HCl, 3.0 mM MgCl2, 0.01% (w/v) gelatin and 2.5 U Taq polymerase. 30 cycles of amplification were conducted, each consisting of 1 min at 94°C, 1 min at 58°C, 30 sec at 72°C. Sequencing of the 0.8 kb amplification product with the primer 5'-ATTAGGCTCTGCCATGCAA-3' according to the method of Wong et al. (3) showed a sequence polymorphism of the gene.

Study of interaction between opioid and ?-2 adrenergic systems in analgesic effect of oxytocin in locus coeruleus nucleus
Introduction: Oxytocin is a active neuropeptide of central nervous system. In this study the effects of naloxone (opioid receptor antagonist) and yohimbine (α-2 adrenergic receptor antagonist) on analgesic effect of oxytocin applied into the locus coeruleus (LC) nucleus were investigated. Methods: Adult male Wistar rats were used. Animals divided into different groups receiving saline, oxy...
متن کاملThe Role of Adrenergic Receptors on Neural Excitability and Synaptic Plasticity: A Narrative Review
Adrenergic receptors have an important role in neural excitability and synaptic plasticity. Despite a lot of studies on these receptors, their exact role in brain disorders accompanied with hyperexcitability has not been determined. There are also controversies on their role in synaptic plasticity. In this review article, the important studies done in this regard have been reviewed to achieve a...

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is an important multi-drug resistant (MDR) opportunistic bacterium. 102 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa equally isolated from human and cow milk were subjected to Multiplex-PCR for detection of ESBLs and exoenzymes of U, T, S, OprI, and OprL, Integrons class A encoding genes and genotyping by the ERIC-PCR and PFGE methods. The disc diffusion and E-test based on CLSI (Cl...

متن کاملAssociation analysis of restriction fragment length polymorphism for alpha 2-adrenergic receptor genes in essential hypertension in Japan.
Recently, restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of alpha 2-adrenergic receptor gene (alpha 2-C10) digested with Bsu36I restriction enzyme has been reported in US populations. Therefore, we examined the association of this RFLP with essential hypertension by comparing the frequency of specific alleles for this gene in Japanese populations. The distribution of this RFLP was compared wit...
